Kurt Keesecker, AIA recently passed the Architectural Registration Exam. He is now a registered architect in the state of New York. Kurt joins other registered architects Bruce Wardell, AIA (NCARB, Virginia, Tennessee), Mark Humbertson, AIA (NCARB, Virginia) and Kelly Trout, AIA (NCARB, Virginia).
brwarchitects participated in the 2006 Habitat for Humanity of Greater Charlottesville Builder’s Blitz by designing a three bedroom house for the Saban Family. Bruce Wardell, AIA and Kelly Trout, AIA designed the two-story home which was built by Abrahamse & Company, Builders and Ace Contracting from foundation to finish in six days. Mark Humbertson, AIA, LEED AP, and Kelly Trout, AIA have been named as Associates with brwarchitects. Mark heads up the institutional and ecclesiastical studio. His studio has won numerous design awards within the past five years. Kelly leads the residential studio and has served individual clients throughout Central Virginia for the last five years.
Mark Humbertson, AIA, LEED AP has received certification from LEED to guide the firm’s leadership in sustainable design. He is currently leading the efforts to design and construct the region’s first LEED certified multifamily project.
