Arch's Frozen Yogurt of Charlottesville, Virginia has selected brwarchitects to design a new location for the restaurant on Emmet Street. The exterior shell of the building will be the first commercial installation in Virginia using stacked Superior Wall panels. These composite panels are a finished concrete face shell with a continuous insulation integrated w/ metal studs for interior finishing. They allow for quick installation, with high energy efficiency and are prepped for electrical and floor framing connections. These stacked walls are anchored to a strip reinforced concrete footing. Upon completion they will be painted and covered with stainless steel cables to allow for ivy to grow up the wall. Click here to see construction photos.
