Crossroads Waldorf School Master Plan Charlottesville, Virginia The Master Plan for Crossroads Waldorf School establishes a multi-phase strategy, which will allow the school buildings to grow as it responds to its new location near the urban center of the Charlottesville-Albemarle community. The phasing strategy that is developed for the school will need to balance the capital resources available for construction with the most beneficial sequence of relocating the existing programs. The site selected for development of a new campus provides a surprising diversity of topography, vegetation, and landscape. The land extends from Rio Road on the east and rises to the location of a small single level residence and then falls in two tiers to the Meadow Creek on the west. At the rear third of the site an intermittent stream crosses the property and connects to Meadow Creek. Access to the site is provided by a narrow neck to the east connecting the main portion of the site to the intersection at Rio Road. download project as .pdf
